In every gospel account of the resurrection morning, it is no accident that running has been mentioned. There were two women who left the scene in joy and haste (Matt, 28:8). The women who had bought prepared spices ran to tell the others (Marl 16:1-8). Peter and John raced to the garden to see the empty tomb (Luke 24:3-4).
